The Community Loan Fund I, LLC, a subsidiary of the Loan
Fund, is developing the state’s first EnergyStar rated
manufactured housing community on Hall Road. “Our purpose
is to help satisfy the demand for moderately-priced homeownership
in the area within the context of an attractive, well-designed
neighborhood,” notes project director Rick Keller.
Construction began on this 44-home community in 2004, with
the first homes being sold and occupied in October. For the
next few years, homes will be available to the general public
at prices starting at $145,900. We invite you to visit the
site, talk with us and see for yourself the quality of the
homes and neighborhood.
One of the first buyers said, “For this price, I was
looking only at very old fixer uppers. I wanted something
new that I could afford and successfully manage.”
Pepperidge Woods is different from what you have seen before.
In short, it’s different in five fundamental ways:
-
Well-built, energy efficient, good quality homes on concrete
foundations that provide permanent support for your
new home
-
Special low-interest financing for homebuyers from NH
Housing Finance Authority and USDA 502 Direct Loan
Program
-
Long-term security over monthly lease rates and security
over the future of the land through a resident-owned
co-op association that is yours by right
-
A thoughtful community design that includes a community
building and play space
-
A developer with a mission for secure and affordable
homeownership for working families and retirees in
New Hampshire
Attractive financing sources may make this possible for
you. If you have financial issues to resolve or need help
in the buying process, we can refer you to one of the state’s
homebuyer education programs for assistance, as well.
If you make more than $35,000 a year and want to own a home,
