Nonprofit organizations may be unable to obtain full
(or even partial) conventional bank financing due to typical
underwriting conditions, such as insufficient down payment.
The Loan Fund can lend funds to help a nonprofit organization
use a loan to buy a property to reduce overhead or expand services
to better meet its mission. Buying or renovating real estate
may help a nonprofit more efficiently provide essential services.
The purpose of our Nonprofit Facilities Lending program
is to help nonprofit organizations better serve their communities
(especially people with lower incomes) with essential services
such as childcare, soup kitchens, mental health services,
legal services, etc.
Each project is different, and the first step is always to talk with us. Contact Nadine Salley, Director of Lending, at 603-224-6669, ext. 240 or nsalley@nhclf.org.
